Required with every new website

Website Care is £25/month for the initial 12 months.

Search optimisation

Start with a focused review or improve the site month by month.

Both options use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools data to identify practical opportunities, then turn the priorities into agreed website changes. Rankings, traffic and enquiries cannot be guaranteed.

Ongoing support and useful additions

Add responsibility where it adds real value.

Email, forms and referral support each have a defined purpose. Included provider costs, expanded scope and larger changes are set out clearly before work begins.

Business email

From £100 setup + £10/month

One-mailbox setup can include domain verification, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, multifactor authentication, basic aliases, one computer and one mobile device. The £10 monthly price includes one standard provider licence and routine mailbox administration. Migrations, premium tiers, additional storage and unusual support are quoted separately.

Forms & automation

From £100

Advanced enquiry or quote forms and new third-party platform setup start from £100. Advanced integrations or automation start from £150; ecommerce, custom ordering, custom booking and bespoke API work are quoted separately.

Referral reward

£200

Paid as cashback or account credit after a referred business becomes a website client, pays the build invoice in full and launches. It is a reward after a successful referral, not a discounted website price.

Important boundaries

Clear boundaries around every headline price.

Included in the standard website

Up to five pages or equivalent sections, a responsive Astro build, basic technical and local SEO, existing-platform links, one standard form, domain connection, launch support and two reasonable revision rounds.

Quoted separately

Ecommerce, bespoke booking software, member areas, databases, extensive copywriting, multilingual content, complex migrations, specialist integrations, unlimited revisions and substantial ongoing content work.

Third-party charges

Booking platforms, premium software, paid domain services and other external subscriptions remain separate unless expressly included. The £10 monthly Business Email price includes one standard provider licence.

Photography boundaries

The £650 package includes up to one hour at one local business location and approximately 20 edited finals, with travel included within 20 miles of West Kirby. Longer sessions, RAW files, multiple locations and extensive retouching receive a separate quote.

Pricing questions

Know what you are buying before work begins.

Will the website actually look like my business?

That is the point of the process. The structure, type, colour, imagery and calls to action are chosen around your business, customers and existing brand rather than dropped into a generic industry template.

Do I need to provide all of the content?

You provide the accurate business facts and any existing material. Page & Place helps organise it, identifies gaps and drafts concise website copy within the agreed scope. Extensive copywriting or research is quoted separately.

Can you use my existing booking or ordering platform?

Usually, yes. Established services such as OpenTable, Fresha, Booksy, Calendly, Deliveroo, Just Eat, WhatsApp and Google Maps can normally be linked or embedded where the platform supports it. Third-party fees remain separate.

Can you update menus, prices, images and opening hours?

Yes. Website Care at £25/month is required alongside every new Page & Place website for the initial 12 months, with one consolidated request and up to 30 minutes of content work each month. Larger or more frequent changes are quoted before work begins.

Who owns the domain and website?

After full payment, the client owns the final project-specific website content and domain, while approved photography is supplied with a perpetual commercial-use licence. Technical access, administration and handover details are recorded for each project.

What happens if I stop the care plan?

The care plan is required for the initial 12 months with every new Page & Place website, then becomes monthly rolling. Early termination during the initial term follows the agreed termination terms. The client keeps the domain and website source when support ends; reasonable initial handover is included and additional migration work is agreed separately.

Can you take the photographs?

Yes. The £650 website-and-photography package includes up to one hour at one local business location and approximately 20 edited final images, supplied in high-resolution and web-ready formats.

How are third-party costs handled?

Known third-party costs, such as booking platforms or paid domain services, are identified before setup and shown separately unless expressly included. The £10 monthly Business Email price includes one standard mailbox provider licence.

Can you guarantee search rankings?

No. Search visibility depends on competition, demand, search-engine changes and factors outside Page & Place’s control. Search Optimisation provides careful analysis, prioritised improvements and clear reporting without guaranteeing rankings, traffic or enquiries.

How do I know what I am buying before I pay?

The scope, inclusions, exclusions and payment stages are written down first. For selected independent businesses, Page & Place may also create a tailored private concept so the proposed direction can be seen before committing.

A scope before a sales pitch

Share the useful facts and get a considered response.

A short enquiry helps establish whether the standard package fits, whether photography is practical and which existing services need to connect to the new site.
