Based in the Wirral · Working across the UK

Web design for independent businesses across Wirral.

Page & Place creates thoughtful, fast websites around the real business—its customers, services, imagery and the practical route from finding it to making contact.

Discuss your business

A local, founder-led service

A website that feels specific to the business and useful to its customers.

I’m Daniel, founder of Page & Place. I’m based in the Wirral and work directly with independent businesses that need a clearer, more professional online presence. Projects can be handled locally across Wirral or remotely with businesses elsewhere in the UK.

The work suits service businesses, shops, hospitality, trades, professional services, salons and other independent organisations that need customers to understand what they offer and take a sensible next step. The structure is never built by replacing one town name with another: it starts with the actual customer questions and operating model.

Local photography can be planned at a business in West Kirby, Hoylake, Heswall, Birkenhead, Bebington, Wallasey or elsewhere within the published travel scope. Page & Place does not receive customers at its residential address; meetings and project work are arranged directly.

What the project can bring together

Design, content, images and customer journeys considered as one system.

Website design and development

Clear page architecture, responsive editorial design and a lightweight Astro build shaped around the business rather than a generic industry template.

Search foundations

Initial research informs titles, headings, visible copy, internal links, technical indexing and alignment with a genuine Google Business Profile where one exists.

Website Care

Managed hosting, domain administration, routine technical responsibility and a defined monthly content allowance keep the finished website supported after launch.

Local discovery

The website and Google Business Profile have different jobs.

A verified Google Business Profile can help a local customer encounter the real business in Search or Maps, check practical information and choose a contact route. The website provides the depth behind that listing: services, prices, work, policies and a customer journey the business controls.

Information should agree across both surfaces. A service-area business that does not receive customers at its address should keep that residential address hidden in the profile and set accurate service areas instead. The real brand name should remain Page & Place without added locations or keywords.

Relevant work

Different businesses need different paths to clarity.

Commissioned websites and Page & Place projects show how service information, booking journeys and more technical products can be structured without inventing results the work has not measured.

Preview-first for selected businesses

Understand, make the direction tangible, then agree the build.

  1. Understand the business. Review the services, customers, current website, platforms and useful local searches.
  2. Shape the direction. For selected businesses, a tailored private concept can make the proposed approach visible before commitment.
  3. Build and refine. Develop the agreed scope responsively, complete two focused review rounds and prepare the site for launch.
  4. Launch with clear ownership. The client keeps control of the domain and key accounts, with normal source-code and account handover available after payment.
